From the WBA,
Unfortunately, the latest update from the state government means all indoor sport remains banned within Metro Melbourne, until at least midnight on Thursday, June 17.
As such all WBA programs and competitions will not run until at least after this date.
VJBL and Big V will not play this weekend, Basketball Victoria will be providing an update as to whether these games will be cancelled or postponed.
The WBA is currently investigating some outdoor training options as this is allowed, albeit with number restrictions in place. We will provide updates to relevant members on this as required.

We are currently working on a number of online engagement activities for all facets of the WBA community, so make sure you check in with our social media channels – here, Instagram and Twitter – to keep updated on what we’re doing (as well as all other updates).
Let’s hope for more significant easing of restrictions after Thursday, June 17 – and we will keep you up-to-date as soon as we know.
